Everything about keys: getting one, activating it, devices, swaps and working offline.

Free trial

1. Sign in with your Google account.
2. On your account page, click Get my 14-day trial key.
3. Copy the key and activate it in Hunt (below).

A trial unlocks every Pro feature for 14 days. It's one trial per Google account — the key stays on your account page, so you can copy it again any time.

Activate a key

1. In Hunt, open Upgrade → License.
2. Paste the key (HUNT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click Activate.
3. The badge shows PRO ACTIVE and the window title becomes Hunt Proxy Pro.

Once active, the key field locks. To switch to another key use Change Key… — your current key keeps working until the new one is accepted.

Devices and swaps

A Pro key works on 1 computers at the same time. A trial key works on 1. Hunt recognises a computer by a hardware fingerprint, so reinstalling Hunt or your OS on the same machine doesn't use a new slot.

New laptop? Activate the key there: when all 1 slots are taken, Hunt offers Move License to This Device, which signs out the computer you used least recently. A key includes 1 swap per license period (they reset when you renew), so contact support if you run out.

You can also pick which computer to sign out yourself: your account page lists every computer on each key, with a Sign out button. That frees its slot and uses one swap.

A computer that's signed out stays signed out: Hunt there says so and forgets the key, even if it's still installed. To use it there again, paste the key in Upgrade → License and click Activate. Changed your mind? Activate that same computer again before any other one and the swap comes back.

Team keys

A Team key has one seat per member. Its owner adds the email of each person who'll use it, under Members on their account page — only those emails can join, and the owner sees when each one joined and was last seen. The first time a member activates the key, Hunt asks for their email; it is then tied to their computer. The title reads Hunt Proxy Team Pro. Moving to a new computer? Enter the same email there and Hunt offers Move <email> to This Device — other members are never affected.

The owner can take people off the team. Someone who hasn't joined comes off for free; removing someone who has joined frees their seat for another person, and uses one of the key's removals for the billing period — one for 2 to 5 seats, two for 6 to 8, then one more for every 4 seats. Renewal and expiry

When a license is renewed it simply runs longer — the same key, nothing to re-enter. With Auto-renew on, if a renewal payment is late, your license keeps working 3 more days while it's retried — they aren't added to the period you paid for. When it ends, paid tabs lock again; your projects and data stay on your computer untouched.
